Eaton and Electrical Safety Foundation International Raise Counterfeit-Product Awareness During National Electrical Safety Month

PITTSBURGH, PA (April 29, 2014) — Eaton and the Electrical Safety Foundation International (ESFI) will again be partnering during Electrical Safety Month in May on a continuing public-awareness campaign about the dangers of counterfeit electrical products. It’s the second consecutive year of this initiative, the goal of which to ensure a fundamental understanding surrounding electrical safety, build awareness among key audiences regarding counterfeits and the dangers they pose in residential and industrial settings.

Among their activities, Eaton and ESFI will collaborate through social media efforts to share electrical safety tips and facts, including the dangers of counterfeit electrical products and how to avoid and identify such products, and also address these issues with industry professionals during panel discussions at key trade shows.
