Tribby Warfield Named Senior VP & General Manager for Kaman Distribution’s Fluid Power Platform

Kaman Corp. has announced the appointment of Tribby Warfield as Senior Vice President and General Manager for the Fluid Power platform of its Distribution Segment (Kaman Distribution), effective Aug. 15, 2014. Kaman Distribution operates through three product platforms: Bearings & Power Transmission; Fluid Power; and Automation, Control & Energy. Warfield will report to Steve Smidler, Kaman Distribution’s President and join Kaman’s Executive Committee.

Most recently, Warfield had been serving as President, North America Commercial for Gates Corp.,  where she led all commercial activity for Gates Power Transmission and Fluid Power in the United States, Canada and Mexico. She previously served as the President of  Gates’ North America Power Transmission. Her career with Gates spanned more than 25 years, including 11 in Europe, during which she served in a number of management and operational roles across the company’s’ European Divisions.

Warfield has long been active in numerous industry associations, including the Power Transmission Distributors Association (PTDA) where she serves as Foundation Board Trustee. She also serves on the Board of Advisors and resides as Executive in Residence for the University of Colorado Denver Business School.

A strong supporter and advocate of FIRST (For Inspiration of Science and Technology) Robotics, Warfield also serves on the Board of Directors of ColoradoFIRST.
