U.S. Tsubaki Power Transmission, LLC has enhanced its ability to turn around custom orders with a new state-of-the-art laser-cutting machine at its Holyoke, MA, manufacturing facility. The new laser machine, along with a new CNC Brake Press and Mill at the Holyoke site, make up the U.S. Tsubaki LASER-EXPRESS capability. According to the company, this increased capability will allow it to respond to requests that it may previously had to pass on due to long lead times or tooling issues.

LASER-EXPRESS is designed to help fulfill the toughest made-to-order requests from customers much faster than traditional stamping and bending processes can. With the ability to create complex bent attachments and the flexibility to cut a variety of plates and attachment contours on standard ANSI or custom sizes, LASER-EXPRESS offers increased flexibility for U.S. Tsubaki’s engineers and, in turn, shorter lead times for end-users.
