The high-temperature HATR-750 LVDT position sensors are said to provide a reliable and long-term solution to sensors that fail when operating in environments with unanticipated temperature spikes.
Hermetically sealed and constructed of 3/4-in.-dia. stainless steel, the AC-operated LVDTs operate in fluctuating temperatures from –65 F to 400 F, with reportedly excellent linearity, high sensitivity, and infinite resolution. Windings are potted inside the housing with epoxy for added protection from conditions caused by harsh environments. Units are also said to withstand shock and vibration for a consistent and reliable output.
