Keynote speaker Ralph Merullo
Keynote speaker Ralph MerulloRalph holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts and Manufacturing Engineering from the U.S. Army in affiliation with Texas A&M University. Ralph has over 15 years in the rotating equipment industry — designing, manufacturing and specifying mechanical sealing devices. He has held various positions in Manufacturing Engineering, Application Engineering, and Training at Chesterton. He has published articles on water conservation and mechanical seal failure analysis in various industry publications as a result of work with customers. He is currently Chesterton’s Business Development Manager for Engineered Solutions in Groveland, MA.
Chris Boss
Chris Boss is a Senior Applications Engineer for Garlock Sealing Technologies and a graduate of SUNY at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. In Chris’ 19 years with Garlock he has held various positions in production engineering, product development, and applications engineering within Garlock’s Compression Packing Division. He is an active member of the Fluid Sealing Association’s Compression Packing Technical Committee.
