IMI Sensors Launches Hazardous Area Approved Triaxial Accelerometer

Melissa Larson | October 13, 2015

IMI Sensors, manufacturer of industrial vibration monitoring instrumentation, announced the release of Model EX629A11A/006CC, a hazardous area-approved triaxial ICP accelerometer with an integral coiled cable and choice of terminating connector. IMI has developed the sensor to be used in route-based predictive maintenance in hazardous environments in conjunction with a wide variety of third-party, multi-channel data collectors and analyzers.

Unit has a sensitivity (±10%) of 100 mV/g and a ±50g pk measurement range. The sensor’s frequency range (± 3 dB) is 2 to 10,000 Hz in the Z axis and 2 to 7,000 Hz in the X and Y axes. The model is housed in an epoxy-sealed stainless steel housing with an integral 6ft coiled polyurethane cable and choice of one of six terminating connector options.
