AutomationDirect Adds Harsh Duty Photoelectric Sensors to Product Lineup

AutomationDirect has announced that it now offers FM series harsh duty IP69K-rated photoelectric sensors in three-wire NPN or PNP styles, including 27 wash down models.
• Suitable for food and beverage applications, the 10-30 VDC rectangular sensors fitted with 316L stainless steel housings are available in diffuse, diffuse-with-background-suppression and polarized retroreflective styles.
• Through-beam models are sold as separate emitter and receiver components.
According to the company, these harsh-duty photoelectric sensors come with either an attached two-meter output cable or an M8 or M12 quick-disconnect. All models have a selectable light-on/dark-on output setting; sensing ranges are available up to 10m.
Backed by a one-year warranty, FM series photoelectric sensors are cULus, CE and RoHS approved.
