SKF and Lincoln have joined forces to create the world’s most comprehensive portfolio of lubrication solutions, from automatic systems to hand-held lubrication equipment. With the consolidation of both companies’ lubrication portfolios, SKF now offers a one-stop resource for the industry’s broadest and most advanced range of lubrication systems and related services.

In addition to creating an unmatched product range, the marriage of these two brands adds to SKF’s application experience and expertise, bringing even more value to the engineering partnerships that have been cultivated over decades with original equipment manufacturers and industrial end users. Combining the knowledge of both SKF and Lincoln has further enhanced SKF’s understanding of how complex systems operate – and how to optimize lubrication to support equipment life cycle management.

SKF and Lincoln automatic lubrication systems are geared to a wide range of industries, from machine tool, mining and metals and pulp and paper to oil and gas, agriculture, off highway and renewable energy. Oil- and grease-based systems are offered, both off-the-shelf or customized, for virtually every industrial application. These include single-line, dual-line, progressive and multi-line, circulating oil and air-oil lubrication systems as well as automatic lubricators and micro-dosage lubrication systems.

The combined SKF and Lincoln portfolio also includes a comprehensive line of premium lubrication tools and equipment, from grease guns to used fluid systems.

  • Single-line systems include SKF MonoFlex and Lincoln Centro-Matic system components including pumps, metering units, control and monitoring devices and accessories.
  • Dual-line systems include SKF DuoFlex and Lincoln Helios, designed for large machines with many lubrication points, long lines and harsh operating conditions. Typical applications include heavy industry, metal working plants, pulp and paper, mining, mineral processing and cement factories, deck cranes, power plants, sugar mills and more.
  • SKF ProFlex and Lincoln Quicklub progressive systems provide a relatively simple and inexpensive method of automating lubrication of machinery bearings, pins and bushings.
  • Multi-line systems, including SKF MultiFlex and Lincoln 205 and 215 systems, supply lubricant directly to lube points without extra metering devices.
  • SKF CircOil systems circulate oil to lubricate and cool bearings in many machines used in the pulp and paper sector and heavy industry. SKF Oil+Air line and Lincoln ORSCO lubrication systems are designed for high-speed bearings, spindles, rack pinions, chains and special applications in the steel industry.
  • SKF provides a full range of lubrication services including system design and installation/startup of automatic lubrication systems, servicing of existing automatic systems, lubricant analysis and testing and training. Drawing on knowledge gained from decades of both SKF and Lincoln experience, SKF can assist customers in determining optimum lubrication levels and intervals. This knowledge drives the decision making process to ensure the best lubrication system design for every application.

SKF also provides a full range of lubrication consulting services, including a lubrication audit that provides an in-depth analysis of a facility’s lubrication program and identifies opportunities for improvement. Using a proprietary savings calculation tool, SKF can help customers estimate the potential savings from investments in specific lubrication improvements.
