For the products we manufacture & sell, the overall health of such industries as Mining, Construction, Steel, Cement, Automotive, Oil & Gas, and Food & Beverage will have the most impact. 

What “next big thing” we can expect from your company in 2015?

We will be launching several new chain, sprocket, and cable carrier products in 2015 all aimed at providing better performance and more production up-time for our customers.

What has your company done in the past year to improve its sustainability, save energy and reduce its carbon footprint?

Tsubaki as a global company has taken many steps to save energy from purchasing newer, more efficient equipment to finding alternative materials & coatings that are more environmentally friendly. 

What role has your company played in the recent “onshoring” movement that has seen certain types of manufacturing return to the U.S. from overseas?

We recently added a significant addition to our roller chain manufacturing facility to better enable more U.S. production.  In addition, we have invested in new equipment at many of our other U.S. production facilities. 

What is your company’s contribution to solving the ongoing manufacturing skills crisis?

We recruit younger people to enter our manufacturing work force who we can train for future growth in the manufacturing sector.

What makes your company different from your competitors regarding product offerings, response to customer needs and overall business strategy?

The large offering of premium products, the amount of technical inside & outside sales and engineering resources, and the enormous levels of local inventory.

What is the most interesting thing about your company that most people don’t know?

The large amount of U.S. production facilities we have.
