Fluke Connect Student Contest Offers Prizes & Bragging Rights for Winning Team of Innovators

Fluke Corporation invites students enrolled in two- and four-year colleges, universities, trade/tech schools and apprenticeship programs to demonstrate their skills and abilities as innovators in the Fluke Connect Student Contest*.

Three members of the first-place team and their adviser will receive an expense-paid, three-day/two-night trip to visit Fluke Park in Seattle, WA. The school’s department will win $1000 worth of Fluke tools, and the Fluke Connect tools used in the contest submission, worth approximately $2500.

To enter, student teams must first select an adviser who is a member of the Fluke Education Partnership Program, then work to design a project that uses the Fluke Connect wireless tools and app to improve operations for a facility or client. Deadline for receipt of applications and business cases is 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time, October 10, 2014. A panel of judges will select five finalist teams to compete, each of which will receive up to 10 Fluke Connect tools to use in their respective projects. The teams have four weeks to make their project work and submit a final report, including photos and/or videos. Winners will be decided based upon a 75% evaluation by the panel of judges and 25% on the public vote. Winners will be announced by December 8, 2014.
